Lightning Fighters are high speed suborbital craft designed for rapid interception, interdiction and surgical-strike roles. Supremely fast, heavily armed, and optimised for the most sophisticated avionics systems available, these aircraft are ideal for establishing air superiority over the battlefield. As such, they find particular favour amongst more experienced – and reckless – pilots.
This multipart plastic kit builds six epic scale Lightning Fighters. These interceptors sport a powerful nose-mounted weapon – each can be armed with twin multi-lasers, the so-called ‘Lightning Strike’ variant, and two can alternatively be armed with twin lascannons. The kit also includes a selection of hellstrike missiles and skystrike missiles to mount under their wings.
These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on appropriate Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
